Ms. Kitty is the precious, wonderful, domestic short hair cat who is the inspiration for Ms. Kitty's Cat Rescue, Inc. Ms. Kitty found her first home when a young girl answered a newspaper ad for a kitten in need of a home. The first nine years of her life were shared with a loving, caring family that included a toy poodle named Chrissy. Sadly, the young girl went away to college, and divorce disrupted this family unit.
Ms. Kitty and Chrissy moved into a new home with one of the family members and enjoyed life until a large dog was brought in the home to live. Ms. Kitty was pretty uncomfortable and felt threatened by this dog. One day, when a visiting preschooler was allowed to make a game out of pulling her tail, Ms. Kitty ran away, leaving her good friend Chrissy behind. After months of wandering the neighborhood searching for food and shelter, Ms. Kitty, emaciated and weak, found a food source: bread crumbs left out for the birds in a neighbor's yard.
The neighbor noticed Ms. Kitty eating the bread crumbs and welcomed her into her home. Ms. Kitty, bringing love and joy into the life of her guardian and friend, had found her forever home at last.
