Social History: Mandy is a wonderful kitty who has had a real rough life. She has been living/surviving outside on her own most of her life. Until recently, a woman was putting out food for Mandy, but the woman never held or petted her. The woman died a few months ago and made no provision for Mandy. We have been feeding Mandy, who is still residing outside in the wowman's backyard; however, the house will be sold soon, and Mandy will be homeless. We have been working to socialize Mandy, and she will now allow us to hold her in our laps and pick her up. She has a great purr and really enjoys chin scratches and tummy rubs. Mandy needs a special forever home with someone who will be patient with her and kind to her.

Social History: Cali-Kitty is a beautiful female kitty. Her current owner has had her for a short while and the owner's allergies have become so bad that she now has to part with Cali-Kitty. Cali is a little shy around strangers. She won't get on your lap unless invited . . .and then she turns into a real lap cat. Cali is very loving and is very good about not scratching the furniture. She uses a cardboard scratch ox instead. She loves to play with her toys. Cali originally lived in a home with four other cats and got along well with them. Her previous owner had to give her up because she had too many cats. Cali is looking for that forever home all cats dream of. She would make a great addition to any family.

Social History: Gabby has a wonderful personality and is quite talkative. She's a definite "lap cat". She just loves to curl up in the nearest warm lap and snuggle. She's a great companion. . .she will follow you around like a puppy. . .or she will lay next to you. . .she's even the perfect cat to read a book with! Gabby does not like others cats. She would probably be okay with a kitten, but cannot be adopted to a home with other adult cats. If you're looking for a companion kitty, Gabby's the one! Social History: Blair is a gorgeous Siamese tortie-point kitt. We think she is about nine months old. She was turned in as a stray to the Oklahoma City Animal Shelter, and we were lucky enough to see her and rescue her. She has a wonderful disposition and loves to be petted. Taking her picture was challenging because she kept rolling over on her back for a tummy rub! Blair will be available for adoption on May 26, 2004. Social History: June is a beautiful gray and tabby domestic long hair kitty. Her front paws have been declawed. June was surrendered at the Oklahoma City Animal Shelter because her guardians were getting a divorce and moving into separate apartments where cats are not allowed. June is such a sweet and beautiful girl . . .she just doesn't understand why she can no longer live with her family! (and we don't understand that either!) June would make a wonderful, quiet, gentle, loving companion. June has tested negative for FeLeuk and FIV, is current on her vaccinations, and can be visited at the Petsmart on 63rd and North May (Oklahoma City) during week days (Monday-Friday).
